Our fantastic roof terrace La Terrazza is open for reservation friday, saturday and sunday.

Can’t find a table at the desired time? Don’t worry. We always reserve a few tables for drop-in guests. Feel free to stop by the restaurant and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Happening at Olivia

Olivia Vågen

Innermost in Gandsfjorden, at the heart of Sandnes centrum is our so far biggest restaurant – Olivia Vågen. The restaurant will extend over two floors with a large roof terrace that will be an amazing place to enjoy food, drinks and views over the city. Inside we have a large bar, several chambre séparée to private parties and of course a lot of space to hungry guests.

Each Olivia-restaurant is inspired by different Italian cities, and Olivia Ramsalt is inspired by the port city Sorrento. Seafood is in focus, which you will discover in the menu. In addition to local dishes you will find classics that you may have tasted in other of our restaurants you might have visited other places.

Ciao Palermo! The Italian kitchen is full of fantastic ingredients and tasteful dishes. All region has their speciality that they are proud ouf, and at Olivia Vågen we are inspired by Palermo at Sicily. In addition to our standardized menu, we are serving three dishes that are typical for this region to give you a taste of Palermo and Sicily at us.

La terrazza

At the “top of Sandnes” you will find our large Italian oasis, sheltered from rain and wind: Olivia Vågen’s roof terrace with space for over 250 hungry (and thirsty) guests. Perfect for a drink after work on Fridays (which turns into a meal?), long lunches in the sun on Saturdays and a lovely place to be in the sun on Sundays.

Quality ingredients in focus

Quality ingredients is demanding in the Italian kitchen. We import all our Italian ingredients through our own import company, and travel often to Italy to find the best suppliers. In addition to famous Italian food like Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano, we import over 50 Italian products from different suppliers which our Head of Food and Beverage, Henriette, has over time created a good relationship to.

Bring your Olivia meal home! Our chefs are ready to prepare pizza, pasta and other dishes from the menu that you can easily pick up at the restaurant and enjoy at home. Buon appetito! 

Sala Privata

At Olivia Vågen we have several chambre séparée – private room where we can arrange anything from small, intimate dinners to more formal meetings and workshops. We recommend our set menus for these arrangement, but are always happy to discuss any special requests you may have regarding food and drinks to make the very best of your visit.

In Italy people gathers to aperitivo, which simply means a drink before the meal. This is one of the many things we love about the Italian culture and bring with us to Olivia. Focusing on the best Italian ingredients, we serve pizza, pasta, and other Italian classics – all made from scratch and with love in our kitchen. Crispy, stone-oven pizza, creamy pasta dishes and Italian antipasti can be found on all menus in our restaurants. In addition, we offer meat and fish dishes served the Italian way. Our open kitchens allow you to see the pizza chefs in full action at the stone oven.
